The ZHK-520 system is a highly versatile vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) line designed for free-flowing and semi-free-flowing granular or extruded items. It is widely used for puffed corn snacks, cereal flakes, fried pellets, candy, pet food kibble, aqua feed, and small nuts, producing sealed pillow pouches or gusseted bags.
Unlike gross-weight systems, the ZH-50 features an independent internal weighing hopper (net-weight scale). Material is fed into the internal weigh hopper first via pneumatic fast/slow two-stage gates. Once the target weight (25kg–50kg) is reached, the hopper instantly opens to dump the measured batch into the clamped bag, allowing the next weighing cycle to begin immediately while the operator stitches the filled bag.
Yes, absolutely. The ZHK-520 can be integrated with an optional nitrogen gas injection system and air exhausting device. Before heat-sealing the top pouch seam, food-grade nitrogen gas is flushed into the bag to displace ambient oxygen, protecting delicate fried snacks and puffed pellets from oxidation, rancidity, and mechanical breakage during transit.
Our ZHK series machines support a wide array of heat-sealable laminated film structures, including OPP/CPP, PT/PE, PET/AL/PE, and paper/PE. The replaceable bag former collar allows operators to produce standard pillow pouches, hole-punched hanging bags, or side-gusseted stand-up bags with crisp, leak-proof seams.
Both the ZHK packaging line and ZH-50 electronic scale feature multi-language color touchscreen HMI panels powered by Siemens PLC logic. Operators can select pre-stored product recipes, adjust bag length, fine-tune target weighments, or run automated system diagnostics with simple touch inputs, eliminating tedious mechanical adjustments.
Standard standalone ZH-50 packaging scales and ZHK-520 packaging machines feature a rapid factory delivery lead-time of 7 to 15 working days. For complete integrated systems including elevators, platform gantries, and checkweighers, delivery is within 20 to 25 working days.
